It’s both a sad and happy time as another group of children graduate from St Anne’s.  
The Graduation Ceremony was on Friday 25th June in the Church and afterwards in the Resource Centre.  For this important event St Anne’s Parent’s Association produced and presented the Graduation Yearbooks and Certificates for each graduate as mementos of their time in St Anne’s.

The 3rd annual St. Anne's Golf Classic took place on Friday 18th June, at the wonderful venue of Glen of the Downs Golf Club.   Apart from the golf, the event also included the Parents Barbecue and the Super Raffle, where the top prize was a trip for 2 people to New York.
The day was a great success, with 64 golfers taking part in the competition, and 115 people attending the evening event.  This was a great result, and could not have been achieved without the support of parents, local businesses, generous donors, and friends and suppliers of the school.

This talk was a great success with a bigger attendance than our previous talk on Internet Safety.
Again we got very positive feedback afterwards and everyone agreed that they enjoyed the talk and learnt a lot from the speaker and the contributions form other parents.
Even though this talk and the Internet Safety talk were free, well advertised in the three schools and at all the masses the numbers attending were disappointingly small.  At our next AGM we hope to get ideas on talks you would like to attend.
 

Based on the amount of publicity undertaken for this talk by the three schools and the Church the numbers attending were smaller than anticipated.
 
However the talk was a great success with very positive feedback afterwards.  Everyone agreed that they enjoyed the talk but best of all they had a better understanding of Internet Safety in the context of their children. 
 
Thanks again to everyone who attended, contributed and helped make this another successful event.
 

The Date for the first Holy Communion is 8th May at 10:00am and 11:30am
The Parents Association are actively involved with the School and Church in the preparations for First Holy Communion.
We will be contacting Parents shortly to look for volunteers to help us on the day.
 

The Confirmation Day is on Saturday 17th April at 11:00.

Reminder
The Service of Light for Confirmation is on Tuesday 23rd February 2010 for all schools.  The Service will start at 8pm in the Church.
