This document was compiled by the St. Anne’s Parents Association to help you with this decision. It covers sources of information, application and enrolment procedures and discusses a list of other issues that parents may wish to consider when choosing a secondary school. It is accompanied by a list of the most relevant schools.
The goal of this document and the accompanying list is to present facts that will assist parents – and to highlight issues that you may need to consider. The Association does not wish to influence parents’ decisions - we are simply putting information at your disposal that we feel would assist your decision-making. We would welcome feedback on omissions and suggestions for future editions – these should be emailed to info [at] stannesparents [dot] com  or you could discuss them with any member of the Parents Association.

We include schools in the area from Bray to Booterstown as well as few closer to the City Centre . The majority of the schools covered are Catholic but schools associated with Church of Ireland and other Protestant traditions are also included as well as a few non-religious schools. The accompanying list includes factual details such as the school’s name, address, telephone number and, perhaps most importantly, its website address. We would urge you to go on the web and research the topic for yourself. Summarising all of the information from schools’ websites as well as from other sources of information (see below) and keeping this summary up to date would be beyond the resources of the Association. Therefore, it's best to contact the secondary school itself for the most up to date information.
